Close but no Cigar…

Well, where do I start about the Minnesota Twins and their 2008 baseball season?  On one hand they had a good season after losing two of their best players (Torii and Yohan) and most forcasted them to be last in the division…turns out they ended up only one game away from winning the division.  (thus the Close but no Cigar title)

However, when do we start to expect more from these players?  Between pitching issues and lack of hitting over the last half of the season.  I am not sure what to expect.

Part of me things they need to act like the Vikings did and SPEND SOME MONEY.  I mean…they are moving into a brand new stadium in a year and a half.  They have some strong cornerstones to build on and they should be able to add some pitchers and a bat or two to fill in some glaring holes!

So what do you think?  Still a fan?  Impressed with what they did or disappointed that they could not finish the season strong?

Let the world know…comment below.

Maybe the Twins should visit my website to remind themselves of how truly blessed they are to play in front of the greatest fans in the world… and maybe the fans should visit my site to try and earn season tickets and heck even go on a Free Vacation. You know … just maybe things will work out. Keep the faith!
