Brad Childress is on the hot seat

Let's say if Childress bombs badly this coming season, does Zygi pull the plug on him. There are some great coaching candidates out there in the market for next year. Bill Cowher and Marty Schottenheimer are available. John Fox and Jon Gruden could be available. Maybe Bill Belichick though I expect him to stay in New England.

To me, for Chili to stay, Tavaris Jackson has to develop into a productive quarterback and he has to get better at his job. That would dictate the head coach's stand with the franchise. I don't think wins and losses will matter much. If the Vikings win 6 or 7 games, Chili gets a year, but if the Purple wins 1or 3 games and Jackson is getting worse at his job, then he should be gone.

I trust Zygi to do the right thing one way or another.

brad childress on the hot seat

brad childress is not only on the hot seat his seat will be on fire at the end of the season he will be looking for another job because he will get fired you will not find a bigger vikings fan than me but i see a pattern they seem to beat themselves alot by turning the ball over and penalties that is a lack of decipline that childress will eventually get fired because of it give cowher whatever he wants to coach this team

I would have to agree with you firechill. With all the money spent on the team this year and really a lack of leadership it sure seems like there is something weak at the coaching position. I honestly feel like unless they make the playoffs this will be Brad Childress last year as the Vikings head coach.

Peace, DJ Bill

Childress should be fired. The play calling is just pertectic.Run/Run pass/punt.Any defensive team knows that its run on first down 99% of the time.u dont have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.Childress isa a BAFFOON and should be FIRED>
